South Cave & Brantingham Cricket Club

Welcome to our Club....

South Cave & Brantingham Cricket Club is a club based in the Town of South Cave in the East Riding of Yorkshire. The earliest recorded details of the club was in 1864, when South Cave played Cherry Burton. Currently the club runs two Senior Teams on a Saturday, a midweek XI, a Junior under 11 & under 13 XI. The 1st XI competes in the York Vale Cricket League and the 2nd XI competes in the East Riding Independent Cricket League, with both teams playing on a Saturday. The midweek XI competes in the Howdenshire Evening Cricket League on a Tuesday evening.

SC & B CC is a progressive club who have recently moved into our new pavilion, which was built in conjunction with the local Football Clubs. The new building gives SC & B CC an excellent opportunity to attract more players to the club. This will hopefully strengthen the club further and allow us to push the club to new levels.

We are currently recruiting for new players for next season. If you would like more information with regard to joining us, please contact info@southcavecc.co.uk.

Club Sponsors - Asahm Indian - Newport

The Asham was first opened to the populace of Newport in 1997 as a takeaway. The aim of the management was to introduce authentic culinary recipes of the highest quality from our homeland. Our culinary styles originate from East Bengal (the easternmost province of the old Indian subcontinent) now known as Bangladesh whose heritage precedes Moghul India and whose rich history is as old as ancient India itself. Such was our impact that we have now in 2002 expanded into a restaurant, still offering you our gastronomic creations and hope to serve you yet for many years to come.
